　　天兔颱風侵襲恆春鎮，瞬間陣風最高達到14級，狂風不僅把一間民宅頂樓鐵皮屋吹垮，墾丁大街上店家的招牌掉落，玻璃吹破，還有女機車騎士被強風吹得騎不動，只好下來用牽的，但也牽不動，幸好有熱心的消防志工看到，冒著風雨協助機車騎士推車，才有驚無險。

　　女騎士牽著機車，在強風豪雨中，勉強想要往前踏一步，卻被強風吹得動彈不得，開車經過的駕駛看到了，冒著風雨去幫女騎士推機車，可以看到狂風把兩人吹得搖搖晃晃，舉步維艱，好不容易才把機車推進騎樓，熱心助人的駕駛阿水上車才鬆一口氣。

　　阿水是恆春的消防志工，多虧了他幫忙女騎士才能脫困，不過恆春地區颳起的強風威力實在驚人，陣陣強風把這戶民宅頂樓加蓋的鐵皮屋吹垮，水塔也被吹倒，碎片散落一地，屋主嚇得躲在屋內還好沒人傷亡，強風呼呼吹也讓墾丁大街的店家遭殃，有招牌被吹落砸在地上，還好沒有傷到路人，氣象局觀測，恆春瞬間陣風最大達到14級，民眾千萬要小心安全，最好不要出門，以免被掉落物品砸傷。

【大紀元9月21日報導】（中央社伊拉克阿比爾21日路透電）伊拉克庫德族今天舉行議會選舉，在伊拉克其他地區和整個中東陷入不穩定暴亂的情況下，盛產石油的庫德自治區正爭取擴大自主權。

庫德人成功地將他們的自治區與發生暴亂的伊拉克其他地區分隔，以吸引埃克森美孚和道達爾石油公司（ExxonMobil and Total）等國際最大企業的投資。

近年來，庫德政府警告，準備與伊拉克的阿拉伯人地區分家，而目前正舖設通往土耳其的最後1段輸油管。這條輸油管在理論上可使庫德族取得獨立所須的財源。

這使庫德自治區與伊拉克中央政府的立場相左，後者宣稱握有全國石油資源的唯一合法控制權，並希望權力繼續集中在巴格達。

設在黎巴嫩貝魯特的「伊拉克戰略研究所」（IraqInstitute for Strategic Studies）研究員馬迪尼（Ramzy Mardini）說：「這次選舉的戰略性得失特別大，選出的2013─2017年阿比爾（Arbil，庫德自治區首府）政府必須為伊拉克境內的庫德族作出1／4個世紀以來的最重大決定。」
