 【吳國仲／台北報導】今天清晨4時許，中興北街一棟公寓傳出有人燒炭輕生，一名開計程車為業的楊姓男子(50多歲)在租屋處燒炭自殺，警消獲報趕到，從隔壁陽臺破門進入，還好楊男仍清醒，送醫後無大礙。
 
警消表示，現場未留有遺書，是楊男的兒子接到父親電話，雖講話語無倫次，但隱約知道有輕生之意，才趕緊報警。至於楊男尋短的確切原因，還需要警方進一步調查釐清。

【綜合報導】郭雪芙8月才被爆是表裡不一的假甜心，事後她淚眼否認「我不假」。《蘋果》日前直擊郭雪芙在台北101購物中心血拼，私下還是很不甜心，大批戰利品都丟給氣喘吁吁的隨身助理，自己則伸懶腰還要助理跟緊點。

郭雪芙日前她和女助理到台北101購物，兩人在3樓VERSACE店內，工作人員忙進忙出，她則是躲在最裡面的試衣間。郭雪芙足足換7、8套秋冬女裝，試穿衣服時都在鏡前品頭論足，過了1個多小時，才心滿意足離去，離去時並未領取，估計應該是工作上的需求試衣。郭雪芙經紀人王誌盟昨表示，郭雪芙忙著拍戲，一有空就多買幾件，ZARA和GIORDANO都屬平價品牌，相信廠商不會介意。至於將戰利品都丟給助理，他說：「可能公司找的助理都很貼心吧！

【綜合報導】美國麻薩諸塞州34歲男子卡拉瑟斯（Neil Carruthers）3年前娶了曾患腦癌的妻子妮迪古（Tina Nedelcu），當時就知道她可能不久於人世。但他曾向母親說：「即使時間不長，我只想和她共度。」
 
小倆口婚後9個月，妮迪古的腦癌復發。今年初卡拉瑟斯辭去在醫院的工作，專心照顧妻子，當她已無法說話時，他常坐在床邊，為她朗讀她曾畫下重要記號的《聖經》篇章。但今年8月11日，卡拉瑟斯走出妻子臥病的房間後，突然暈倒，送醫後宣告不治。至於死因，家屬目前仍在等候解剖結果。
 
29歲的妮迪古從婆婆口中得知丈夫驟逝後，傷心欲絕，在丈夫離世46小時後，也不幸病逝。卡拉瑟斯的母親認為，這是上帝的安排，要讓這對愛侶在天堂相守。兩人的共同葬禮，昨天在當地舉行。
