【劉人瑋／台東報導】突如其來的狂風大雨，台東漁船新進興號17日晚間９時許，因失去動力後被大浪打上三仙台附近的礁石擱淺，82岸巡大隊獲報後立即出動人馬前往搜救，所幸船上蘇姓船長和漁工3人皆平安無事，只是不僅要救人，船上漁貨和設備岸巡人員也得幫忙搬，由於漁船一時無法脫困，船主擔心在大浪不斷拍打下恐會受損，因此聯絡友船前往搬漁貨、拆卸船上設備，岸巡隊員只好摸黑協助，協助漁工們搬運船上電子設備，在高低落差最多達2公尺、長逾百米的珊瑚礁岩岸上進出幫忙，以免船民在運送過程中發生意外，只是最後不僅是漁民頻頻摔倒，協助的巡岸弟兄也因路滑視線不佳，摔得混身海水十分辛苦。

【李姿慧／台北報導】國道計程年底即將走上路，全台收費站將走入歷史，改以319座門架感應扣款，今門架設計近距離曝光，曾用BMW、保時捷以190多公里時速測試、兩車距離60公分，及門架下變換車道等，仍可扣款成功。

目前全台最高門架在五楊高架上，距離地面12層樓高，其他門架至少也有2、3層高，都是靠全台近百名「蜘蛛人」維修和養護。蜘蛛人詹智謙說，感應設備曾被真正的蜘蛛佔領成窩，爬上門架清除後，帶回一堆蜘蛛蛋，2天後車上、家裡、辦公室都出現一堆蜘蛛，讓他變成「名副其實的蜘蛛人」。

【大紀元2013年10月17日訊】（大紀元記者吳英編譯報導）根據美國堪薩斯市今年4月發表的年度創業活動報告，步入中年的美國嬰兒潮世代已成為目前維持美國企業動力的主力。

據美聯社報導，完成這份報告的愛文馬瑞安考夫曼基金會（Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation）說，美國55歲到64歲的中年人自行創業加入新企業家行列的人數越來越多，占有企業家總人數的比例，已由1996年的14.3％上升到去年的23.4％，45歲到54歲者的比例略有起伏，更年輕的族群則呈現下滑的趨勢。

該報告雖然沒有追蹤更高年齡層的情況，但據美國勞工統計局的調查，65歲以上的老者創業自僱的比例高於其他年齡層。

在聖克拉拉大學教授創業理論的弗朗（Mary Furlong）說，老者通常因為具備冒險的精神、熱衷挑戰、且易受創意啟發，因此具有獨特的創業動力。

除了人口老化的因素外，專家認為失業是促使美國嬰兒潮世代開創事業第二春的驅動力之一。弗朗說，多數開創事業第二春的長者，是出於不願意又被解僱或擔心再次被解僱的心理因素，而將開辦企業作為職業生涯的B計畫。

居住在伊利諾伊州的葛雷（James Glay）即為一例。今年64歲的葛雷先前擔任銷售業務員的工作，4年前在被解僱求職到處碰壁後，決定在他的公寓內騰出一個房間，自行創業設立一家古典鼓公司，雖然沒有賺大錢，但至少避免了經濟不景氣的衝擊。

葛雷表示，古典鼓公司的盈收雖然不高，但他現在比以前還忙，而且他獲得更大的滿足，這是用錢也換不到的東西。

然而，也有人不是因為失業，而是出於自身的願望，放棄原先的工作，轉而創業投入與興趣相符的事業。

今年60歲的吉安諾尼（Paul Giannone）曾在資訊科技業工作近35年，2010年毅然决然地辭去工作，前往紐約開設餐廳，提供客戶他熱愛的比薩。雖然必須向銀行申請房屋二貸，但他說這項投資是值得的，因為餐廳生意不錯，目前正在尋找開設第二家餐廳的地點。

此外，也有人採取相對保守的方式。定居在弗吉尼亞州、現年58歲的威爾遜（Al Wilson），選擇在不放棄原先工作的情況下另外兼職，為某公司製作水上運動保護用品。

雖然這項兼職每週都有來自全球的訂單，但仍不足以構成讓威爾遜辭掉工作、自行創業的動力，他仍然打算在原來的工作崗位做到退休。

【大紀元2013年10月17日訊】（大紀元記者藍悅真台灣台北報導）中興航空一架搭載氣象局人員到玉山運補的直升機墜機，造成3人不幸罹難，飛航安全調查委員會表示，昨天（16）日失事的中興航空BK-117型直升機，已尋回座艙語音通話紀錄器（黑盒子；CVR），相關人員加班解讀黑盒子談話內容，但解讀內容保密，適當時機才會公布。

飛安會調查人員昨日到失事現場拍照蒐證，但直升機殘骸四處散落，為預防黑盒子無法判讀失事原因，必須先取回殘骸進行分析。

飛安會表示，之後也會與日本的直升機製造商連絡，確認是否要協助調查，殘骸也要詳細的檢視，這款失事的直升機，算是很普遍的機種，很多國家都在使用。

飛安會執行長王興中表示，黑盒子記錄的內容共有31分又53秒，但是錄音檔必須轉成文字，黑盒子內容要等民航局、塔台、中興航空3方進行比對後，才能對外公布，預估初步報告下週出爐，目前都還不清楚失事的過程，部分調查內容只是拼湊和訪談目擊者得到，必須再進一步判讀。

【陳偉周／基隆報導】基隆市3名男子郭權御(21歲)、許凱翔(22歲)、張文諺(22歲)，去年9月1日凌晨2時許，在基隆市仁二路上1間KTV歡唱完走出大門，看見2名男子站在門口等人，對他們喝斥「看三小！」，之後竟拿開山刀、電擊棒與安全帽追砍2名男子，民眾見狀趕緊報警處理，2名遭砍男子送醫後無大礙。
 
警方調查，涉嫌砍人的許男與張男已落網，郭男因逃亡遭到通緝。本周2晚間10時許，警方發現郭男的車停在祥豐街上，於是埋伏抓人，一看到他開門下樓，立即衝上前壓制逮捕。郭男坦承犯案，表示去年曾遭北市警察抓到，當下謊報身分逃過一劫，訊後依殺人未遂罪移送。
