| 國安會議不到1小時 拍板斷交

馬英九總統清早召集高層會議，針對中華民國與甘比亞兩國情勢做出裁示，會中拍板決定，即日起終止中華民國與甘比亞外交關係。外交部隨後宣布與甘比亞斷交。
總統府發言人李佳霏說，馬總統上午再度召開國安高層會議，並拍板決定，即日起終止中華民國與甘比亞外交關係。相關人士透露，當確認對方意思，確認沒有轉圜空間，甘國已做出最後決定，為維護中華民國的國家尊嚴，馬總統決定採取斷然措施，清楚向國際社會表達。
據了解，馬總統這幾天與相關首長聯繫，並掌握相關進度。這兩天也持續擬定因應策略，並已針對各種可能情境，擬妥相關因應方案。因此，上午收到更進一步的駐甘比亞大使館傳回來的訊息，馬總統隨即決定採取斷然的因應策略，會議不到一小時便做出決定。
今早國安會議，由馬英九總統親自召開，與會者還包括副總統吳敦義、行政院長江宜樺、國安會秘書長袁健生、總統府秘書長楊進添、外交部長林永樂等。

家中長輩最近偶爾會全身虛脫無力 就當事人講法是靈魂要飛走，往生去了 單然本身也有去過醫院跟醫生反映(新陳代謝科) 醫生只表示多休息... 就個人逼問長輩的徵狀，長輩說 摸自己的手感覺像摸別人的手 聽聲音像是隔著牆一般 意志無法驅使肉體...要往生了... 主要發生於下午(長輩有好好吃飯，睡覺) 當然還是會去求助醫院及醫生的幫助 但是懇請有類似經驗的板友，能提供意見 或是建議該選擇哪些科別去掛診... -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 114.44.36.94

| 超市更衣室內性侵4歲肢障女童 中年男認罪

【於慶中／綜合外電報導】澳洲墨爾本一處大型連鎖超市的兒童遊戲區更衣室內，今年5月16日發生一起4歲肢障女童遭到陌生男子性侵的事件，警方稍早逮捕一名嫌犯，上周三(13日)終於在法庭上坦承罪狀。
47歲男子史威夫特(Kevin Robert Swift)平日就酗酒，又有吸毒的習慣，他坦承犯案當天已經喝得爛醉，又吸食了大量的大麻，才會選定在大型超市的兒童遊戲區更衣室尋找獵物並犯案，當時女童的母親與祖母就在幾公尺外的賣場內閒逛。史威夫特在庭上表示自己已經深深懺悔，但調查人員在他家中搜得大量的兒童色情影片與圖片，懷疑他是危險的戀童癖者，本案明天將宣判。

| 法國《解放報》 遭槍手開槍攻擊

【於慶中／綜合外電報導】法國左派全國性大報《解放報》(Liberation)位於巴黎的辦公室，當地時間周一(18日)上午10時15分(台灣時間下午5時15分)遭到槍手開槍射擊，造成一名攝影助理重彈，傷勢十分嚴重，目前尚未脫離險境。
《解放報》在官方網站上表示，上午10時15分，手持獵槍的男子闖入位於巴黎的辦公室，共擊發2發子彈，打中一名攝影助理後逃逸，全程都沒有說話，目前現場已經封鎖，警方正調閱監視錄影帶，積極緝凶。
上周五(15日)，巴黎當地另一家新聞媒體《BFMTV》的辦公室，也疑似遭到持槍男子闖入，但並未引發事端，兩起事件間目前並無關聯。

【於慶中／綜合外電報導】佛光山開山宗主星雲法師近日在馬來西亞弘法，由於大部分的時間都戴著太陽眼鏡，一度被當地媒體稱為「最潮大師」，直到今天準備返台前，他當眾拿下太陽眼鏡，才知道原來星雲2天前在當地東禪寺的行程中不慎摔了一跤，左眼下方瘀青了一大片，還縫了6、7針，他為了避免外界多做聯想，才全程戴著太陽眼鏡。
