「圓仔」明天正式對外見客，昨天晚上首次開放媒體見面會，算是第一次壓力測試，結果「圓仔」不受大批人潮影響，活動20分鐘後就蹲在棲架上睡覺，連保育員把牠抱起時都還在熟睡中沒醒，讓台北市立動物園鬆了一口氣，認為「圓仔」有大將之風，足以應付明天正式見客。

有「貓熊之父」稱號的中國保育大貓熊研究中心主任張和民，為了「圓仔」見客受邀來台，昨天晚間抵達台灣，今天親自確認「圓仔」的生理狀態，證實「圓仔」身體狀況良好，今晚上將與台北市長郝龍斌一起對外說明。今晚也會邀請協助的單位、弱勢團體搶先看圓仔。

「圓仔」出生滿半年，未來長大為成熊以後，交配問題該怎麼辦？台北市立動物園發言人趙明杰表示，小「圓仔」長大後若要生兒育女可能有兩種方式，一種是回大陸貓熊中心交配繁殖，另一種是大陸再送一隻公熊來台。但以目前「圓仔」受國人關注的程度，長大後回中國大陸的機率微乎其微，希望能向大陸借公熊繁殖。

大貓熊通常1歲後才會離開媽媽身邊，6歲成年，以「圓圓」為例，來台4年接近7歲才第一次發情，「圓仔」要長成亭亭玉立的成熊，還要再等約5年。以此估計，民眾看到「圓圓」與「圓仔」同在一起的時間，大概只有半年時間，等到「圓仔」成年，就會讓獨自生活獨挑大樑。

園方也表示，等「圓仔」斷奶開始以竹子為主食後，就得讓「圓仔」學習獨立，屆時「圓圓」與「圓仔」就不能在同一個展場。

趙明杰表示，基於自然保育，希望大貓熊可以自然交配，「團團」與「圓圓」若要再生小寶寶，也必須等到「圓仔」斷奶離開媽媽後，「圓圓」才有機會再懷孕。

至於未來「圓仔」的配種，必須按照中國大陸的分配。園方希望能向中國大陸「借」公熊來台交配，因為以「圓仔」的高人氣，實在不宜離開台灣回中國大陸繁殖。

目前「團團」可以在戶外展場和室內展場自由行動，「圓圓」與「圓仔」則在另一展場活動。趙明杰表示，等「圓仔」成年後，按照大貓熊的習性，必須離開媽媽獨立生活，到時候得將三隻大貓熊分開展示。趙明杰表示，目前大貓熊館展示空間超過140坪，只要進行區隔即可，不需要再新建其他展場。

【大陸中心／綜合外電報導】寧夏固原市西吉縣北大寺周日下午發生人群踩踏事故，造成14人死亡，其餘10名受傷人員已送往醫院接受救治。

事發當日上午，部份群眾到北大寺參加已故宗教人士忌日紀念活動，下午1時左右，在為信眾祈福過程中，由於群眾相互擁擠，發生意外踩踏事故。

傷者全部送到西吉縣人民醫院搶救，有14人死亡，10人受傷，當中4人重傷。
