世界大賽首戰　薛爾茲對決邦賈納

大聯盟世界大賽，將在周三8點於皇家主場開打，兩隊首戰先發也終於確定，毫無意外的，巨人由王牌左投邦賈納(Madison Bumgarner)先發，對戰皇家王牌薛爾茲(James Shields)。
 
皇家總教練約斯特(Ned Yost)認為，先發輪值安排從來就不是個問題，他說，「這是問題嗎？薛爾茲投第1場，范杜拉(Yordano Ventura)投第2場，季後賽一直以來，我都這樣決定。」
 
邦賈納本季表現出色，獨力撐起巨人先發頭牌，本季例行賽加季後賽，已快投了250局，總教練波奇(Bruce Bochy)說：「他是個強壯的投手，上場比賽表現如此完美，如果我問他會不會累，這是在汙辱他。」
 
巨人先發輪值，也一如前2輪一樣，邦賈納打頭陣後，老將皮維(Jake Peave)與哈德森(Tim Hudson)、佛格頌(Ryan Vogelsong)將緊接在後。（王翊亘／綜合報導）
