CNN若出售 價值約50億美元

分析師估計，如果媒體大亨梅鐸（Rupert Murdoch）成功購併時代華納（TimeWarner Inc）並出售時代華納旗下有線電視新聞網（CNN），這家24小時有線電視新聞網可能價值約50億美元。

蓋貝利公司（Gabelli & Co）的哈瑞斯（BrettHarriss）說，CNN每年稅前息前折舊攤銷前估計獲利約4億5000萬美元，而CNN價值約為這個數字的11倍。

梅鐸旗下21世紀福斯（21st Century Fox）今天宣布開價約800億美元，求購時代華納。根據知情消息人士，21世紀福斯表示，為避開法規障礙，若併購時代華納成功，將售出福斯新聞頻道（Fox News）的直接競爭對手CNN。

消息人士說，時代華納拒絕提案，不過83歲的梅鐸不太可能就此罷手。
