當科學人 女不及男一半

（法新社巴黎19日電） 今天公布的研究指出，女性在追求科學事業上因刻板印象而受阻，攻讀相關學位的人數則不及男性一半。

研究發現，英國、法國、德國、日本、西班牙及美國年輕女性大學選讀科學相關科系的機率平均為35%，年輕男性則為77%。

這份由波士頓顧問公司（The Boston ConsultingGroup）所做報告指出，「投入科學領域的男女達到均勢仍難以達成」，其原因在於此領域普遍存在的「刻板印象」。

數據顯示，自1990年代以來，從事科學研究的女性增加3個百分點，來到29%。

不過比起男性，擁有科學博士學位的女性平均僅占男性的1/3。

這種不對等現象一直延伸到頂端，歐洲最高學術職位僅11%是女性接下，而自1998至2013年，132位諾貝爾科學獎得主僅5位是女性。

報告並說，「女性投入科學領域比例低在大學就出現」，這種狀況到入職場後更加嚴重，女性被賦予較少責任，薪水也較低。（譯者：中央社蔡佳伶）
