3D列印造臉　毀容男重生

英國南威爾斯29歲男子鮑爾前年9月發生摩托車車禍，頭骨與臉部嚴重受傷，留下嘴歪眼斜的後遺症，醫生最近用3D列印技術重塑臉部骨架，還他本來面貌，寫下全球首位在手術演練和手術時都用到3D列印技術的病例。

鮑爾的臉部骨折十分複雜，必須把骨頭切成好幾塊重新組合。醫生需要精密的練習，用電腦斷層掃描資料，用3D列印機列印出他的頭骨模型和塑膠固定板，練習在他臉上正確位置，植入比利時製的3D鈦金屬骨架，重塑其臉型。

鮑爾在長達8小時的第2次手術後改頭換面，長相幾乎恢復到車禍前模樣。鮑爾感動地說：「我終於可以逛街、拜訪朋友，自由出入公眾場所。」（陳怡妏／綜合報導）
